Greetings, dear readers! My blog is about beverages – non-alcoholic and alcoholic. I tell you everything about them: the history, technology of creation, types and much more.

The various kinds of drinks found on our tables on a normal day and during feasts are as varied as the food itself. But in most cases the drinks are consumed not so much to quench thirst or hunger as for entertainment. And each of these entertainments has its own properties and has its own characteristic influence on our bodies.

Drinks are usually divided into three large groups – alcoholic drinks, carbonated drinks and non-alcoholic drinks.
Alcoholic beverages are beverages containing not less than 1.5% of ethyl alcohol obtained from alcoholic, carbohydrate-containing raw materials. Since ancient times, they have been prepared by fermentation (fermentation is the metabolic breakdown of nutrient molecules, such as glucose, without the participation of oxygen).

Carbonated drinks are drinks saturated with carbon dioxide. They too, in turn, are divided into two subgroups: carbonated beverages produced by fermentation (e.g. champagne or sour cabbage soup) and carbonated beverages produced by modern technology (cola, tonic, carbonated lemonade, sparkling water). Some carbonated drinks are better and healthier to make yourself. Thus, the best homemade lemonade must be natural. That is, there should be no syrups and flavorings, and it should be made from lemon and only from lemon.

Soft Drinks . Like carbonated beverages, they contain no alcohol, but they also contain almost no carbon dioxide.

This is a brief introduction to what this blog is about. You will learn a lot of useful information in the articles. Enjoy reading them!
